Does pomegranate consumption improve oxidative stress? A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled clinical trials
Diets that favor the intake of pomegranates may prove effective for alleviating oxidative stress.
This meta-analysis investigated how pomegranate consumption affects oxidative stress levels. Researchers sifted through data obtained from 21 studies.
Researchers noted that regular intake of pomegranate enhanced antioxidant concentrations in the body and lowered oxidative stress significantly. This meta-analysis highlighted the important role pomegranates play in reducing oxidative stress levels in humans.
