Loading our plates with polyphenol-rich foods may help maintain our blood pressures within a normal range and keep hypertension at bay.

This study seeks for further evidence affirming the therapeutic and preventive effect of dietary polyphenols against hypertension. Data from eligible scientific publications were utilized for this study.

Researchers discovered that adequate consumption of foods loaded with polyphenols improved vascular function and hindered the development of hypertension. This study provided robust evidence that frequent eating of polyphenol-containing foods may be beneficial for the treatment and prevention of hypertension.
