Association between physical activity and menopausal symptoms in perimenopausal women
Engaging in physical activity may help reduce the severity of menopausal symptoms in women.
This study looked at how physical activity affects the severity of menopausal symptoms in peri-menopausal women. Researchers matched the level of physical activity with the occurrence of symptoms of menopause in 2,204 Korean women aged 44-56 years.
Researchers noted that more physically activity correlated with lesser severe menopausal symptoms. The results of this study indicate that adopting a physically active lifestyle may help to improve menopausal symptoms in women.
