High Dietary Inflammatory Index increases the risk of female infertility: An analysis of NHANES 2013-2018
Embracing a pro-inflammatory diet may give rise to infertility in women.
This study assessed whether an association exists between the consumption of pro-inflammatory foods and a woman's likelihood to experience infertility. Researchers matched dietary habits with fertility status among 2,613 women within the age bracket of 20-45 years.
Researchers discovered that more women on high inflammatory diets suffered from infertility than their counterparts who refrained from consuming pro-inflammatory foods. Evidence from this study indicate that following a pro-inflammatory diet may pave way for the development of infertility in women.
