Is consuming red meat associated with obstructive sleep apnea? A systematic review
Elevated intake of red meat may increase an individual's propensity to suffer from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
This study conducted a meta-analysis that assessed the correlation between frequent ingestion of red meat and the odds of suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Data from 7 studies were utilized for this meta-analysis.
Researchers discovered that red meat eaters were at risk of experiencing obstructive sleep apnea. This meta-analysis suggested that devout consumption of red meat may be one of the factors that contribute to the development of obstructive sleep apnea.
