This study threw more light on the role fruits, legumes, and vegetables play in the prevention of hypertension. Researchers surveyed the diet and health of 10,325 Korean men and women over a 5-year period. During the course of the study, a total of 2,159 participants were diagnosed with hypertension.
Researchers noticed that the chances of suffering from hypertension diminished with elevated intake of fruits, legumes, and vegetables. This study underscored the importance of integrating fruits, legumes, and vegetables into our diets as a viable preventive measure against hypertension.
