The effects of pomegranate consumption on blood pressure in adults: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Indulgence in pomegranates may help to maintain healthy blood pressure numbers.

​This meta-analysis shed more light on the connection between greater intake of pomegranates and blood pressure control in adults. Data from 22 studies were included in this meta-analysis. 

Researchers found out that high dietary ingestion of pomegranates reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressures in men and women. This study offered additional evidence that consistent consumption of pomegranates may help to keep blood pressure within normal range.
