This study assessed the impact of regular eating of fiber-rich foods on ovarian cancer development risk by means of a meta-analysis. Researchers conducted a comprehensive meta-analysis on data extracted from 13 studies involving 142,189 participants and 5,777 cases of ovarian cancer.
Researchers discovered that avid consumption of high-fiber foods diminished a woman's chances of developing ovarian cancer. This study provides further evidence that increased intake of fiber-containing foods may be beneficial in the prevention of ovarian cancer.
