This research work studied ultra-processed food intake in relation to the development of breast cancer in women. Researchers tracked the diets and incidence of breast cancer among 399 Iranian women.
Researchers observed that breast cancer occurred at a high rate among premenopausal women who enjoyed consuming ultra-processed foods. The findings of this study showed that fondness for ultra-processed foods may promote the development of breast cancer in women.
