High ingestion of foods rich in vitamin E may lessen the likelihood of developing lung cancer.
This study examined the role of regular consumption of foods rich in vitamin E play in the prevention of lung cancer. Researchers systematically reviewed data extracted from 11 studies that evaluated 4,434 cases of lung cancer. They observed a significant reduction in lung cancer risk among subjects who consistently consumed diets high in foods rich in vitamin E. The findings of this meta-analysis demonstrate that frequent consumption of foods laden with vitamin E may decrease an individual’s susceptibility to lung cancer.
