Low breast cancer risk is associated with high intake of healthy foods.
This research work examined the relationship between the consumption of healthy, western (unhealthy), or drinker diets and breast cancer risk. Researchers analyzed data and evidence obtained from several cohort and case-control studies. They found out that women who consumed healthy diets had low breast cancer risk. On the other hand, increased intake of western (unhealthy) and drinker diets elevated the risk of developing breast cancer. The findings of this meta-analysis show that high consumption of western diets may contribute positively to the prevalence of breast cancer among women.
