The association between recent cannabis use and urinary incontinence in women: a population-based analysis of the NHANES from 2009 to 2018

Cannabis usage may lead to the development of urinary incontinence in women.

​This study explored the link between the use of cannabis (marijuana) and the occurrence of urinary incontinence in women. Researchers looked at the prevalence of urinary incontinence between users and non-users of marijuana.

Researchers noticed an upsurge in the cases of urinary incontinence among active users of marijuana. Regular intake of cannabis may give rise to urinary incontinence in women.
